pSAS144 Sequence
Notes:
The following sequence was assembled from four sources: (1) a very good
sequencing run using purified pSAS144 and the M13/pUC forward primer, which
yielded over 1000 bases of data; (2) another lucky
J sequencing run using the M13/pUC reverse primer; (3) the known
sequence of pUC19; and (4) the known sequence of the pC194 cat gene. Just four
ambiguous bases remain, which are indicated by the standard one-letter symbols
in the sequence below. The dif site is from 282-308; the cat coding sequence is from 1095-445
(complementary); and the bla
coding sequence is from 2026-2886.
